Here in the USA in Connecticut, minimum wage is set at $16.94 per hour or $678 per month and $35,200 annually. That is far from the $130,000 the average family of four needs to cover basic needs in this area. You'd need to work 3.7 jobs at minimum wage here to raise a family. Such is wealth inequality in the USA.
I don't know who determines this money shit rule around the world? These governments always want war, where we regular people always struggle a lot to live a basic life. Such a sad world. Who prints the money?
Governments print the currency. Unfortunately the governments have all been corrupted by the ultra wealthy and the system only works for 1% of the population. The 99% really need to focus our anger and wrath on the 1%.
This money system is the most complicated thing, I could never figure out. But all I know is, it is all an illusion to make us slaves to those 1%
I believe it's going up to 12.71 here for over 21 year olds.
Rent is at least £900 per month here.
The state I live in (looked it up) is $1256 USD per month. They are trying to pass a law that would raise minimum wage to $2600 per month.
Is $1300 enough to live there?
I guess even rent price is starting at a silly price such as $600+ there.
Same here. The salary is $655 and one bedroom apartment is starting at $600
