It's a difficult topic, but one that interests me.
I have heard that the military provides significant support to active soldiers and higher ranks.
There is a lot of money and the best healthcare.
After a member of the military has left the service, or even while they are still serving, but suffers from psychological damage such as post-traumatic stress disorder, there is no help available. What is offered does not help, and people often cannot get back on their feet. Homelessness or crime would be the result. The man who drove into the crowd in New Orleans in 2025 was a former soldier.
Who would like to or is able to tell us more about this AND how we can help? Inside and outside the USA.
What do veterans really need? What support services are lacking?
If everyone waits for others to take the first step, nothing will ever happen.
When I saw the video Rise against - Hero of War and read the comments, I remembered what I had been told.
