Legally, I don't think had a right to use any of it, but not certain of the laws in DC.

In my state, if you shoot a person like that for any reason, ya go to jail. only if your life is threatened. If someone is breaking into your house, you are supposed to leave.

That is an idiotic democratic state that favors the lives of criminals, but that's the rule.

So Maryland is like that... democrat I think, DC probably same. So I assume same rules apply.

But it becomes a fine line doesn't it... as it was chaos. I find it odd officer was allowed to shoot her point blank and other officers go to jail that werent even involved (e. g. George Floyd), or were protecting the order.

It is not a fair world... everything has a bias to it.

Officer Byrd had no grounds to use deadly force. At some point, I believe karma is coming for him.
