Why do so many Americans support the ICE afent that shot a woman in the face?

Idc if she stood in the way, it's not a reason to immediately shoot someone like that, IN THE FACE 3-4 TIMES. Disgusting behavior. In my country police don't often carry guns, and if they do, they are not allowed to immediately shoot. First they are only allowed to shoot if it's a life threatening situation. Second they have to give a warning shot. Third if they then do shoot, it has to be in the leg or a non-life threatening area. And only once, unless the threat continues, then another warning is given and perhaps a second shot. After that the first thing they do is immediately call the ambulance to get them help and make sure that the criminal is treated as soon as possivble. That is what it means to treat humans like humans, no matter how good or bad they are. This is just plain wrong. Even if she didn't listen or if it looked like she was about to run him over, that shot had no hesitation at all. The man stepped out of the way and then shot. He was not in direct danger anymore. The shot was unneccessary and too far. Just because she "Shouldn't have ran away" and "listened to orders" is not a reason to shoot her in the face multiple times.

It's actually concerning to see how many Americans support it because it was 'self defense'. It's not self-defense to choose to immediately shoot someone in the face even after you stepped out of the way and are not in direct danger anymore. That's just a public execution tbh. He knew that he was 100% going to kill her. It's also a valid reaction from her to try and get away, because she was probably just scared of them, due to their reputation. I think that running away is nog a good enough reason to shoot someone and especially not in the face 3-4 times. Most of the world thinks so aswell. Years ago where I live there was a very controversial shooting. A 15v year old black kid was shot and killed. He was armed. However he had his back turned to the cops and they told him to stop. He stopped but also started to turn around. Before he was able to get off a shot, he was dead.

I knew a cop that knew him pretty well. He told me that the cop was the kind of guy who had no problem killing somebody. He said if it was any other cop, he would have hesitated on firing on a kid and would have been killed.

The lesson is that cops do not have the time to pause , fire a warning shot or in some cases even identify themselves as law enforcement. They have a split second to decide what will save their life and the lives of civilians.

The car was speeding towards the cop. The driver could have swerved right and just escaped or it could swerve left and kill the cop. He had a split second to take a guess on what the driver would do. They are trained to stop the threat and the cop did what he was trained to do.

This same officer was making an arrest of an illegal alien in his car 6 months ago who hit the gas and caught the officer on the car and dragged him 100 yards. He went to the hospital and had to get 33 stiches in his leg.

The officer in front of this woman's car had every justification to defend himself and shot her as she moved the car forward with him in front of it just feet away. He has a split second to stop her and it is irrelevant whether he was injured or not. What's he supposed to do? Wait until she hits him?

This woman was harassing and obstructing the officers who were performing a lawful law enforcement action and refused to follow their lawful orders to step out of the car (most likely because she knew she was going to be arrested at that point).

She then used a lethal weapon, a 4,000 pound vehicle, to hit an officer while trying to escape justice.

I assume you're of the opinion that she did not accelerate her car while the wheels/car was directed at the officer. So, if you are a reasonable person, then you'd watch the entirety of this video if I could show you a timestamp proving that notion wrong, right?

At minimum I am asking for 40 seconds of your time, so that shouldn't be an issue. And if this reveals something you weren't aware of, and you were a principled individual, you'd watch the full video. If you were a biased individual, you would not.

She didn't though? He could have easily stepped aside, which he did by the way, and he already grabbed for his gun before she even tried to get away. Her tires were turned the other way and not towards him. She just panicked and tried to leave. The officer also shot after stepping aside, she was no threat anymore and still he shot her. He didn't just shoot her anywhere, he shot her in the FACE 3-4 times. Could have shot her shoulder or stomach. He purposefully tried to kill her. And then after then didn't even immediately get an ambulance. Nothing in the video justified her being killed. Maybe he only scratches his nails, but he wasn't even hurt at all.
