So in June last year I was walking down the street with my toddler.
It was a hot summer day. I was walking up to my family’s car as we had a trip to the beach
The street is normally busy but it was quiet this time. A man grabbed my breast whilst walking past me and he continued to walk forward
I just stood there and was shocked. I was like “wtf you doing?”
I just stood there but then I walked upto my family’s car who were further down the road and I called the police to report the incident.
The entire day I felt violated. I didn’t enjoy the trip at all.
The police came to my house that night around 11-12am. I gave a statement and they left
A few days later, I log into my GP records (I’m from the UK), and i see a met police referral form which says
“Please can the adult female be referred to the Section 2 Care Act…”
I mean why would they even contact my GP?
In regards to the suspect:
I went to my local car park and asked for CCTV footage of the man walking past the car park.
This was after the police told me there was no camera on that street
He was on video walking past and looking back after the assault. The detectives also noticed he’s the same guy who sexually assaulted more than 10 victims in that same area. He was in prison for a few months. Now released on bail until his trial in 2027. Evidence is strong. 10 against 1.

I'm sorry you had to pick up the slack of salami brained police officers. You're a hero to your community and I hope you get the recognition you deserve.

Ohh duh, as in general practicioner? Ya that's a funny thing to tell them. Maybe all sexual assault gets reported to them in case the person might feel more safe asking for a test kid from a trusted doctor?
