I liked the names of aircraft carriers from the old days. Like The USS Enterprise; or The Coral Sea.
I just better never see a U. S. Aircraft Carrier named The USS Joey Biden!!

Trending & News They are bringing back The USS Enterprise as a Gerald-Ford Class aircraft carrier slated for delivery in 2030. So beam me up, Scotty.
@Bdddd
Can you believe that I was actually on the flight deck of the USS Enterprise - NO guardrails either and I was on the edge and looked down. WOW! What a rush that was!!
This was in 1974 when she was stationed in Alameda, California where I lived back then. I lived only about a mile from the base.
That same day I had a special escort take me on a tour of the ship ⚓.
Go Navy!!
Wow. That is super-cool!
He was a President who served in the Navy and officer and was aboard several USS ships/submarines.
@AgentG111
That's it? Did he do anything monumental while he was president to have an aircraft carrier named after him?
I just remember him to be a pretty uneventful president.
Turned down the heat put on sweaters. Had to wait till Regan took office to end the hostage deal.
Um I believe there several deals while he was in the Navy that led to some honors.
They also named one for Ford and he fell down a lot and s couple of people ran up to try and hurt him but he fooled them when he fell down.
@AgentG111
Well, now you're talkin'!!! Falling down is certainly good and deserving criteria to get a U. S. aircraft carrier named after you.🙄

We have already had an aircraft carried names the Kennedy. Ford's major accomplishment was being a stable force for the country when we had gone through a period of turbulence with the Watergate affair.
Gerald Ford was a pilot and instructor in the US Navy during World War II.
John F Kennedy was also in the Navy during World War II, noted for his infamous PT109 incident.
It's typical for the US Navy to name aircraft carriers after US Presidents. The USS Franklin D Roosevelt carrier, USS Ronald Reagan aircraft carrier, for example. That's especially true if the President has ties to the Navy.
I would not be surprised if they start naming them after sponsorships like...
The USS Mc'Donalds... F-67 TikTok... or the M3 Shark Tank
I imagine afterr the democrats get back into power (God Forbid) there is a USS Obama.
He was president and there are very few negatives about him.
