For context, my friends and I are stationed in Europe, and it’s an environment where we have to actively work to figure out what is going on stateside. With this context, I’ll ask this again…did a segment of the population lose their minds?

So, you know ICE? Yeah, that stands for “Immigration and Customs Enforcement” and they have been found not only assaulting and kidnapping the visibly non-white off the streets and deporting without due process to Venezuelan prisons (look up Cecot, 60 minutes did a great documentary on them that was banned from airing in the US), but they’ve also been assaulting, kidnapping, and in two cases murdering American citizens who protested these violent actions. Protests are happening in Washington DC, the town where congress is stationed, and the president is threatening to use the Insurrection Act, something that has not been done without request by the town experiencing unrest since 1965 when MLK and his team were walking across state lines and this was done for their protection. In this case, President Trump wants to use it to protect ICE agents, who are being openly berated, mocked, and followed as they perform door-to-door “investigations” in Minneapolis homes due to the state of unrest. It’s believed these men are falsifying arrest warrants as only judicial warrants can justify deportation, let alone arrests for illegal immigration (which could honestly just mean their visa expired), and using administrative warrants to convince people to come with them out of fear. They have taken part in multiple ethically questionable tactics in order to “do their jobs” one of which involved holding a 5-year-old girl in detainment so as to draw out her parents so they could be deported. There’s also people showing support for the citizens in Iran as they fight their theocratic government, trans people aren’t allowed to exist in certain states, abortion is criminalized in others, everyone’s pissed but no one is organizing a coup de’tat as of yet. Also, our president decided to kidnap President Maduro of Venezuela to charge him and his wife with narco-terrorism and leave Venezuela without their leader to justify invading the nation for their oil stores that the country has made a point of selling without the American dollar for a long, long time. And ALL of this is believed to be a distraction from the partial release of documents we’re calling The Epstein files, which detail gruesome sexual acts that President Trump was undoubtedly involved in, allegedly he was an accomplice in the murder of an infant that came from a girl he was having sexual relations with from as young as 13 during the 1980’s.
