Amazing food.
Great resorts and activities.
Vibrant plazas; shops, art galleries, huge mercados; colorfully painted cities; public sculptures; monumental architecture and churches from the Spanish colonial period.
Street parties and entertainers.

I've visited different parts of Mexico many times and never had a problem. But it depends on where you go.

A checkered history of Spanish Colonialism, exploitation, widespread poverty, and corruption. A decent potential economy with diversity from agriculture, mining, oil & gas, fishing, tourism, forest products, and manufacturing. But the government has a long history of weakness and corruption with drug cartels being the current bad actors ruining the opportunity of the people to make something of the country.

@siajanua2027 Been there many times. Now days not the same image. Sprawling, huge country, a lot of poverty, many people living in squalor, sad to say.  A shame that the country cannot be brought up to the 21st century, as they have many good, craftsmen and workers and also doctors and technical people in Mexico City
