Dumbass guy probably deserved to get shot. First of all, a 9mm is a weapon of murder. You do not need 30 shots per second (or whatever) for self-defense. The damned things shoudl be banned to begin with.

Secondly, he had a laser sight on the thing, which again suggests ill intent.

Third, he had multiple clips worth of reloads on his person. Who carries 90 to 100 rounds of ammo for "self-defense" when realistically you only need at most a few shots to take down an attacker?

I disagree with two-third of Your points (not sure about the second one, it seems mostly legit, I shoot 9mm handguns at the shooting range without any sights on). However, I agree with the general sentiment. He should not have approached the ICE operatives doing their job and disrupt them. Definitely not with a gun on him.
