We live in a Constitutional Republic. WE are called the United States and there is a supremacy clause for a reason. Individual states cannot decide which laws they will obey and which ones they will ignore. It would be chaos.
Tim Walz needs to keep his mouth shut and give Federal Authorities the same cooperation that the other states do. The illegal aliens in Texas make up 25% of the total number of illegal aliens that have been deported and there has been no chaos and nobody is killed. Minnesota has less than 2% and Walz has already gotten two people killed already. It sounded to me that he is doubling down on breaking the law.

The supremacy clause is widely misunderstood and frequently misused. The intent was to establish an ultimate authority when two or more states cannot settle a dispute between them. It was not meant to relieve states of their rights and responsibilities to self govern. That is tyranny.

I would not abolish any police at all. Although I would like to see the federal police, specifically ICE and other agencies, reformed. It's important to realize that in any society, the role of police is to keep the peace and enforce the law. It turns out that having peace and law-abiding citizens is very, very important to the welfare of all of us.
