ICE - Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

For fuck sake, when did Immigration and Customs become a paramilitary armed agency? Immigration and Customs agencies are throughout the world but they DO NOT carry firearms, much less kill anybody.

Firearms are carried by only general law enforcement agencies who handle day-to-day public crimes.

Immigration issues are not day-to-day crimes and any arrests should be made by local law enforcement WITHOUT GUNFIRE!

At this fucked up rate, even IRS could be given the license to kill, for tax and financial crimes!

It's federal law and in these cases, local law enforcement refuses to enforce anything. Maybe if the local officials weren't deliberately creating powder kegs, there wouldn't be an issue with these wing nuts getting themselves killed.

Most other countries are a Republic where the central government/ federal authority supercedes sub-divisional government who cannot interfere with the central agencies.
