Althou the idea of ICE is naive in that there will never be enough of them to deal with illegal aliens everywhere, and thus there must be a bounty system that state police can collect on.

The Federal goverment at least tangentially can claim authority under the Article I, Section 8, Clause 4, of the Federal Constitutions to control immigration.

The federal goverment has no authority whatsoever over guns. That said lawless federal politicians and their hand picked stooges in black robes have already created such an origination called the ATF.

Unlike ICE, there is not even single line that can justify the legitimacy of what the ATF does, and thus prove the agents there of can't truthfully claim not to be criminals.

We need a bounty system so States can be compensated for doing ICE's job. There will never be enough ICE agents to control all the land int he federations. There would need to be more of them than there are police. Pay state police for every illegal alien they apprehend and at least we will be able to enforce it effectively.

Where I live it is a mandatory year in jail for possession of an unregistered firearm. It is not enforced because it was considered racist since most of the people who got lugged fot it were gang bangers.

Our Constitutional system was designed to leave most power to the people, give a broad section of powers available to local and State Governments, and give a very small and defined amount to the Federal Goverment in a well thought-out and considered system that CAN BE AMENDED if 3/4ths agree.

Your idea of pure democracy where people can just ignore such rules and vote on whatever they want, or oligarchy where existing leaders can just imagine exceptions to allow them the same effective power is absolutism of either position of power.
