Yeah in a perfect world. They probably shouldn't have guns, but this is far from a perfect world in the US and every two-bit criminal here seems to have a gun. I wouldn't think that asking people to confront people with guns without their own guns would be a very successful idea. That said, there are too many bad crooked cops and having people like that walk around with guns. It's pretty much the same thing as having criminals walking around with guns.

US cops should go home (except the 40% who are domestic abusers, they can go to hell) so the government maybe has to try giving that money to services and organizations that actually, provenly lower crime rates, instead of (best case scenario) cruising around creating more "criminals" out of minor traffic violations and only solving 2% of the crimes they're actually called for. Fuck the police.

No, the monsters are the ones snorting meth. At least once per month a meth head is running around downtown trying to kill people with a machete. A cop has to come out and shoot the monster and then the liberals want the cop to go to jail. If I were a cop, I'd just take my time getting there, and let the meth head kill the goldfish. That way everyone can be happy. I will be happy to not go to jail, the goldfish will be happy that no scumbag cop saved her, and the monster will be happy to kill again tomorrow.
