Dude, you've managed to confuse your country and your ethnic ancestry. It's a non sequitur. You can be both Black and Dominican. What you're arguing is like saying I'm a US citizen, not White. Nope. Both things are true. I'm a US citizen and my ancestry is Caucasian.

But we're all African at our roots. Humans evolved in Africa then took the show on the road. There is no getting around that fact.

You should not get mad, in my opinion, of you look black. After all, Dominicans have black ancestors, just as many other islands do. If you get mad about it--it doesn't make sense because you are judging people for not knowing any better. How can they know, unless you wear a button saying what you are?
