Let's consider the case where a Liberal Woman, a Democrat, and a Conservative Man, a Republican, get Married and start to have Children.

Would their child be a Moderate Independent?

Probably NOT. Most likely either Liberal or Conservative.

My reasoning is that we now know from MRI's that Conservatives have larger amydalas (fear center) and Liberals have larger cingulate cortex (novelty center). From memory these aspects of brain structure are about 60% predictive of a persons politics.

They are also inheritable traits. So the baby might get the Dads larger amygdala or the moms larger cingulate cortex.

There is nurture as well as nature of course. If we are putting bets on this the best odds are for the baby to be like Dad or be like Mom and not somewhere in between.

Fortunately, politics is not hereditary. Anybody who is reasonably intelligent and thinks critically would have to be a conservative. But if children are raised by AWFULs (Affluent White Female Urban Liberals), they will end up with septum piercings, unnaturally colored hair, have daddy issues and will eventually lead to something involving bail money.
