Lets face it , Taxes come from the people that work in America. The leeches live off the sweat of people that work.

This means people with no job , people that just inherited wealth , and most college students won't be allowed to vote. This would encourage people to get jobs too.

• Why would women who don't work outside the home but who have children who require primary education and healthcare issues that could affect their reproductive rights?
• What about people with disabilities or chronic illnesses?
• If a college age kid can be sent to war, are you going to exclude their voice in government?
• Even inherited wealth has a role to play with potentially putting that wealth to work in investments that help the overall economy.

Excluding people from having a voice in government based on arbitrary criteria is a slippery slope we'd best not start down.

I voted yes even though I think everyone should vote. We are becoming a nation of loafers. Mitt Romney was right when he said 46% on America will never vote for him. He meant that 46% of America is getting some sort of government assistance. This is a dangerous trend. We will see this up close in New York city this year. The welfare class voted for the commie because he promised free stuff. The taxpayers and large corporations are leaving in droves. Memdani already is talking about raising taxes on the rich. The rich will just move to Florida.

I think the answer is their votes should be worth substantially more and as you approach the top 1% it should go back down to nearly the lowest level.

Maybe a military person who's position exposes them to world politics should be worth 2.2 votes. And a college student gets 1 vote but a modifier depending on how much they contribute to the economy. It could be calculated off taxes so that how they make their money isn't discriminated.

No, everyone who is a citizen and is a legal age should be allowed to vote. Voting is a right in that case and not a privilege. This whole thing about tying it to property or jobs or anything like that is Anti-Democratic and wrong.
