Is Stephen A. Smith the most logical presidential choice for the Democrat party?

Don't bring up Trump please, the question isn't about him and he won't be there in the next election. With that said, Stephen A. Smith is the only Democrat that appeals to me as of right now.

As far as the right goes, I think we're looking at J. D. Vance. Debate between these two would really make me think and have to make hard decisions. But if the Dems put the likes of AOC, Gavin, or Kamala... I'm just going to vote for Just Dance Vance.

I very much respect the two party system. And while I feel that today's Democrats have gone down the path of evil, a good candidate could bring them out of that lunacy. Although I am a hardcore. MAGA conservative Republican, I contracted the Democrat National Committee and suggested. Jeh Johnson as their candidate. He checks the race box. And has a good reputation for government service. I know that many Republicans do not like him, but it's not up to Republicans. It's up to Democrats. But right now, the Democrat party is locked in lunacy.

But on the red team I prefer DeSantis. I like the creativity of Ron for two reasons.

1. Bussing the undocumented folks to Martha's Vineyard was a stroke of genius. It's easy to say that the border is secure until reality hits your town. "It ain't a problem till it's a problem" Ron made it their problem.

I'm not sure if he'll run again, but I think Ron would get my vote. I would've voted for him last time if Trump didn't run. The way he's managed his state is another reason I would seriously consider him.

Honestly his public relations people effed his campain up the most... he was standing a chance against the Donald until they got into the mix. I knew he wasn't in when most of the Red no matter who people were complaining about his followers basically ripping on anyone online with so much as a question. He'd have to get them on a leash somehow.

I had to look him up and do some reading... I think you're onto something because I feel like the best of the best are going to be people that understand how money or basic economics works. But as you say... too qualified... fiscal logic doesn't seem to be their thing. I appreciate this perspective though... if you read the other comments, it's not like the others for sure.

Absolutely. They all have experience in government. They are not narcissists, pathological liars, or otherwise mentally ill. One has executive experience at the federal level. One has executive experience at the state level managing the 6th largest economy in the world. All of them are loyal to the constitution. All of them are articulate. None of them are pedophiles. None of them are convicted criminals. And none of them are grifters.

I'd clean house in the Democrat stable but it would be assholes like Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, and other relics of the past who are long past their "sell by date"

I would say he has zero qualifications to be considered, but then again, you don't need any to become President. You need them if you want a chance to be a good President.

I mean yeah, but... who would be better out of their front line right now? The best of the left literally left the left, and now work for Trump for the most part. I was listening to this guy yesterday, and I was hearing rational things instead of just itdentity rhetoric or some Karl Marx pipe dream. Meanwhile, also yesterday, AOC and Gaven Newsome was going full retard at some world global politics thing... they couldn't even give stright answers. Like kids trying to give a book report on books they didn't read. The left can't just keep running people that are better off hiding in a basement as their campain strategy. Not just that, I kind of look at this personally... I'm pretty sure I would shut AOC or Gaven down face to face... with Stephen, I might walk away from the table disagreeing about some things, but he's not all wrong like the other two. I couldn't just shut him down outright like the other two. In fact I agreed with a lot of what he was saying. You can tell he read the books on the book report. That's the difference I'm seeing.

I'm a little suprised though that the left don't like him at all it seems. Why not? They'd rather throw the likes of Kamala back out there? I don't know what they're smoking...
