Why do young people want to wear revealing clothing? Why is doing so a good thing? Might as well walk around naked if you don’t care about what other people think. This goes for guys who must be shirtless all the time and girls who wanna wear booty short and bralettes.

Why is clothing so tied to your personality/ confidence? You don’t want people staring, but you wear as little as possible. You say you don’t care what people think, but you insist on looking “sexy”, according to…? Why must you look “sexy”? Can’t you show off your personality through other avenues besides clothing? Why attract multiple people/ partners when you should just keep one forever

How very puritan of you. I’m not sure what kind of puberty experience you had, but mine was riddled with masturbation, sexual shame, and looking up porn in secret. Teenagers know what sex is, teenagers have sex, barring them from the knowledge does not stop it from happening. You don’t have to like it, they’re not your kids so they’re not your responsibility. They’re trying to figure out who they are so they look at the world at large to help them find a path, and some of them end up seeing some pretty sexy stuff, and they also see how much attention that sexy stuff gets, some teenagers also get that attention unintentionally and they have zero control on making it stop because once they’re perceived a certain way by others, that perception will always exist and they can’t force other people to stop seeing them that way. If it bothers you that this is your perception of teenagers you’re not legally allowed to touch, the only advice I can give you is this: look away and mind your own business.

Guys are used to running around shirtless all the time, even when they are kids, especially during the summer. They don't do it for sex appeal until well after puberty once they build some muscle.

Girls, on the other hand, are thrilled to finally pass through puberty. They are so proud of their new boobs and curves. They also compete with their peers to be the cutest and coolest. In doing so, they push boundaries.

Hungry gazes give them validation and a sense of power. They like to play at being grown up. They think they are grown up even though they are still immature.

Once they are young adults over 18, they dress to attract hot guys.
