I think some order is good, but I genuinely hate being so restricted by society. Too many stupid laws and prohibitions. I think society would function just fine in anarchy. You see it every time you start society afresh. If you crash landed on a deserted island with a group of people, you'd see just how quickly the laws of society go out the window and you just play things by ear. It doesn't mean people become bad.

    Not really.
Each one has up sides and down sides
It comes down to how you play the game depending on the situation.
Thriving is about adapting not waiting for the perfect context to line up.

I function best with structure, but I grow through a bit of chaos.

Too much order can feel limiting, too much chaos becomes noise.

I think balance matters , discipline to stay grounded, unpredictability to stay sharp.

A little tension between both keeps things alive.

Can't stand Order , to me that's along the lines of a controlling body , no artistic license , but I don't want Chaos either.
Control , organizing , every thing in place people are rarely productive , they can't adapt , hate going in a different direction " We said we'd do it like this " = " Yes but now that has changed angles " open your mind.

I work best when I work off others around me.
Like I can make connections, creative decisions, and excellent social communication when others are around to play off of so, in that sense chaos is where I thrive.

I need order in everything else.

LOL, chaos is my preferred environment. I have an advantage there. I can navigate chaos where many people cannot. Risk and random chance are exciting. It's fun figuring out solutions.

"In chaos there is also opportunity" - Sun Tzu, The Art Of War.

Order is stale, static, repetitive, boring. It feels like waiting to die.

There's a well documented personality trait for this: conscientiousness. There's a subtrait of orderliness too.

I'm low in conscientiousness. I don't necessarily thrive in chaos, but I have a much higher tolerance for it than others.

Some would have a meltdown trying to live in my messy room. To me, the mess is just a bit of a nuisance.

Chaos. That's why I try to be structured. Not easy but if I don't try I would go under. I try and one day it will be everything alright.

Oh, I thrive so much better in calm and order which is total irony 'cuz I'm usually the one causing the chaos!

Organized chaos. It may LOOK LIKE a mess to you, but I know where everything is and there's nearly always a reason for it to be where it is.

I must have order to be able to make sense of what's going on.
You can't do that if it's chaotic.

Oddly I am better under stress and violence. I don't like it but I have a superpower that adjusts my mindset instantly to deal with it. I noticed it at about 10 years old.

Order. Chaos is often death. I was a marine, I've seen what chaos looks like in the shitholes I've been deployed to.

Order. Chaos is many times preventable, and when proactive, will turn itself into order.
