I would lean towards chaos, only with some degree of structure to keep things from flying off the rails. I'm a creative type who likes to come up with radically new solutions to problems and too much structure inhibits that.
Conforming too tightly to standards makes it impossible to come up with innovations that establish new standards. At the same time, I do value standards greatly, but not blind conformity to them. I see rules like guidelines to follow when practical, not things to be blindly obeyed.

  If I use an artistic analogy, I really like this sketch I found on DevianArt from an artist going by the alias of Contrapposto.
  
  It displays some degree of structure with some conformity to perspective, anatomy, etc, but it's also deliberately breaking them. The pose is exaggerated to the point where it would normally break a human spine. It is chaotic. It uses rules like guidelines, not something to be obeyed at all times.

  That's the way I see life. Rules are useful guidelines and by default, we should follow them when we agree with them and we should definitely know about them. Yet we should be able to bend them, distort them, twist them, break them as we see fit.

A little from column A, a little from column B. I can't cope with too much chaos but because of entropy complete stability will only come with the heat death of the universe. No one is looking forward to that.
