Jesse Jackson, the civil rights leader has died. We know Trump is adding a new wing to the Whitehouse, so I think he should name it the Jackson Wing.

I suspect that even if he had been more important, that Drumpf still wouldn’t honor him in any way. Drumpf took MLK jr. Day off the list of holidays that grant free access to national parks. What a slap in the face. Sure, it’s not that important, but therein lies the problem. It was such an unimportant change that any amount of time and energy spent on it was a waste. He was making a statement, and not a good one. That said, Drumpf won’t honor Jesse Jackson and i don’t have a problem with that.

Jesse Jackson was a clown. I don't like to speak ill of the dead, but honoring MLK is bad enough considering he was a rapist. We don't need to honor this guy too. Though to my knowledge JJ never raped anyone or plagiarized anyone. So maybe he was a better man then MLK.

No. There's too much naming and renaming of shit all over the US of A.
The only renaming this I do prefer is are those things named for Confederate traitors who should not be honored whatsoever.
For instance, US military base Fort Bragg in North Carolina was named for Confederate General Braxton Bragg. In 2023, it was renamed Fort Liberty. However, the Trump administration - racists that they are (*) - restored the Fort Bragg name albeit under the guise of renaming it for a WW 2 Battle of the Bulge hero Private First Class paratrooper Roland L. Bragg.

(*) This is why Trump restored the name Fort Lee for Confederate General and US traitor Robert E. Lee.

Oh come on, a clearly partisan guy like this? I honestly did not know anything about Him, so I consulted Wikipedia. He does seem kind of decent Himself, but His stances were all drops in the tsunami that currently threatens to wipe out the Latin civilisation as we know it...
