Democrat run city then no.
Maybe it depends on where u liv.
It is around my neck of the woods.
It's neither free nor safe.
It isn't a free country or a safe country.
Freedom and safety are mutually exclusive.
No, they aren't.
Humans and absolute safety are mutually exclusive. No where in the world is perfectly safe. We can only talk about RELATIVE safety.
There are plenty of places in the US that are extremely dangerous, but as a generalization, the high level of danger is contained to a specific area, and if you avoid those areas, your overall safety is significantly better.
Most people in the US know where the worst areas are: Detroit, Baltimore, the south side of Chicago, Minneapolis, Atlanta, New Orleans, St. Louis, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco/Oakland, and areas of Los Angeles. All of these places have left-leaning governments, soft-on-crime policies, and open or fairly open drug policies. Some also have large concentrations of immigrants from non-western countries that have very different morals and values. All of this leads to much higher levels of danger.
But no where is 100% safe, because people are able to be mobile, and that includes the criminals, the insane, and those with radical beliefs. In areas with good security, such people have a hard time committing crimes - but they occasionally find a way
That said, there are places in the world that make the worst areas in the US look like a kindergarten class - Mogadishu, for example.
Generally, the more freedom a place has, the safer it is, but freedom requires the rule of law, and places with no rule of law are generally unsafe.
Yes they are. The two terms definitionaly exclude each other.
There are never two equally safe decisions one path is always more safe and therefore to be safe one is not actually free to choose.
No one is omniscient so to be free is to take a risk on limited knowledge and therefore not be safe.
As an aside, this is also why men and women as classes will never have aligned political interests. Men are driven to maximise freedom in order to maximise productivity to attract a mate and women are driven to maximise safety to maximise longevity.
I agree with your generalization about men and women, but real freedom includes the right to self defense, and you'll note that the most dangerous areas are also the places which restrict or prohibit self defense. Just because the people claim to be infringing on the freedom to self defense in order to "enhance safety" doesn't make that the truth.
I think you are conflating freedom with rights.
No, it is not "SAFE"
Haha, no.
Safe no far from it
yes it is
Hell no...
