This is 1917 France executing a woman suspected of being a German spy. Can you imagine, a linup of grown men on a cold day with rifles.

Do not go there in hate, disgust. If you see such mentality, it's time to go the other direction.

What makes it worse, is a lot of them were either just forced to service the Germans in bed, some did it to guarantee safety from other nazis, or were basically pimped out by family to the Germans for resources. Then once the nazis are gone? The lucky ones are shaved, beaten and shunned. The unlucky majority got executed.

Men are nice to women and generally they always have been. However, now and for most of human history a few women have been mistreated. Occassionally, most women in a society were mistreated. However, such societies, change or go extinct.

That is the equality women demanded. We execute men for treason. Why wouldn’t we execute women for the same?

Love your neighbor as yourself was Jesus MISQUOTING Leviticus. Leviticus contains several death penalties for witchcraft, betrayal, blasphemy, and sexual sin, which Jesus either never read, or else chose to ignore.

Would you be less outraged if the German spies being executed were men?

Is your reasoning that women shouldn't have to suffer the consequences of their own actions?

What SHOULD be done with people who are actively trying to destroy their own country?

I'm sad that war has to happen sometimes, but I don't feel sorry for these particular individuals.

You act like they executed her because she was a woman. No they executed her because they believed she was a spy. Man or woman the execution would have happened anyway.

I personally would have kept her alive to see if we can gather any inside information from her and if she ended up being innocent then she can go back to normal life. You can't do that if she's dead.
