I can't upload this video because it's not on youtube, but I was called out for saying the Women's Team wouldn't go no matter what, being told that was merely my "opinion". Well magats, it's not merely an opinion.

If the Men's team had any balls or honor, they'd have stood up for the Women's Team. After all, according to magat's, men are the protectors, right? Apparently not. Kudos to the six men on the team who refused to go. Look up the video of the men being "treated" to Big Mac's. It's pitiful.

These ladies have FAR more integrity than the rest of the men's team. Their message is simple. If you don't understand it, that's a "you" problem, and a very significant one.

The wonens team was invited the the White House after their victory and they declined saying there was a scheduling conflict. I do not know what would be more important than being invited to the White House. The womens team should take responsibility for their actions and grow up. The mens team had no responsibility to act like spoiled children and turn down an invitation by the President.

On a different post, I had stated the US team turned down a prior invitation before the end of the tournament. After more in depth research, that was incorrect. The only invite they received was 3 days AFTER they'd won their tournament, and after the phone call to the men.

The women's team politely cited "scheduling conflicts" in their rejection of the invite, but everyone knows it was them saying "no fucking way" to a pedophile President. I also stated they had never intended to go even prior to winning the Gold Medal, and as it turns out, team members corroborated this on other social media platforms. So it turns out, yes they did decline the invite you are correct, and so am I that they never intended to go in the first place.

* Perhaps you haven't noticed, but the NHL is a business. There are guys who already play for the NHL are under contract. The guys who don't have NHL contracts don't have them because they were PASSED on in the drafts or they play elsewhere. I also want to add, the individual women on the team have very few sponsorships. The team itself has various sponsors, but as of today, no sponsor has indicated they are backing out of supporting the US Women's team.

Probably not and good on them not to meet with a misogynistic rapist and give him good press. I too am disappointed with the men's team who did go (save the 6 who didn't), but in the end they have their rights to support whomever they choose. We just also have the right to judge them for that decision.
