Would you be upset if you were not invited?

Every year Im invited to a Halloween party at a friend`s house she always organized and this has been for about 8 years now. She always send me an invitation. This year since Halloween falls next week I assumed this friend was going to invite me or send me an invitation next week, days before so I can start looking for my costume, with this friend I had never had any issue before, in fact we dont see each other much anyway, she has her life with her son but even so she never misses to invite me to her house for Halloween, we had known each other for more than 8 years anyway. She is not my super best friend but she is a good friend. I even went to the funeral of her husband 5 years ago, I gave her my sympathy, she always was grateful to me and like I said never ever we had had any issue between us since we first met many years ago, the reason she always take me into account to her Halloween parties and sometimes December parties (not every year this one) but always take into account for invitations. Last year was no exception, she invited me to her Halloween party and I went. She even lives close by my house, about 15 minutes by car.

Today just like one hour ago I found out over social media some photos of some of this ladyfriend other guests, with costumes at her house. Those friends of this lady I also know from years too im not stranger to them as I know them for many years as this lady friend every year also invites them as well and I recognized the setting, it was this lady`s house, which means she threw her Halloween party yesterday. Also this lady friend on her WhatsApp profile photo post today a new photo of her in costume at her house, so it turns out she threw her party yesterday night and this year I was not invited.

I thought for the date she was going to throw it next week, not this week and I assume she was going to take me into account next week (Halloween is next week anyway) well, she did not invite me this year for yesterday party. I dont know why she did nto invite me but im a little disappointed, I was excited as for this year I had in mind the perfect costume for the activity.

Talk to her about it. Or you will be tearing yourself apart trying to figure out what is going on.

I mean I jsut can't talk to her bluntly but what I jsut did was like to comment on her costume over Whatassp and told her "What a pretty costume" and wait to see if she replies me something

well she assumed she invited me, she replied to me and ask me why I did not show up yesterday and what happened to me. I just told her I never got an invitation for this year. I guess she forgot to sendme the invitation

She did tell me just "ohh bummer I forgot" and then sent me videos of the party. I dont see a reason why she sent me a video of the party when she forgot to invite me
