Most people who talked to many of them know they are good people for the most part. Rednecks that only talked to some or none talk shit. I am Catholic by the way. I appreciate diversity and people are people.

4 moEh, a Catholic would never prefer the Demo (n) crats over President Donald Trump. The average Demo (n) crat literally wants men dead for being men (unless we're talking about the men in power).
However, I do agree with most of Your statement. I have talked to an Egyptian Muslim and let me tell You this - He was more friendly to me than most people in the West could ever be. Yes, He did attempt to convert me to Islam... But I suppose He gave up on it once I more or less convinced Him we believe in the same God, we just perceive Him a bit differently. However, the fun part is the majority of the people in the West who could compete with this Egyptian Muslim's friendliness are... MAGA supporters. With how much I speak up against the genocide of Palestinians in Palestine here on GaG, I only had one foolish shabbos goy launch an attack on me about how Muslims are inherently evil and deserve alll the suffering they go through (and it wasn't even on a discussion about Palestine in particular). Everyone else either ignored my opinions, agreed to disagree or exchanged their beliefs in an absolutely calm manner.

4 moWrong. Most people that talk bad about Muslims have studied the Quran and the Hadith and as a result have asked many Muslims uncomfortable questions which lead to becoming hardened against Islam due to that lack of integrity of Muslims that defend Islam and the horrible message in that religion. I read the Quran when I was maybe in 6 or 7th grade at the public library like it was a book to read front to back and knew it was false even at that age but did not grasp it all. That said I knew many Muslims and was friends with a number of them through high school and early college years. I knew a number of Palestinians, Iraqis, Iranians, Qataris, Moroccans, Pakistanis, Indians, Bengalis, etc. I've seen them get the shit knocked out of them while they were bleeding on the ground and stopped bigger guys from beating to death, I've been in their houses and hung out many times, I've worked with them in fields of science/medicine and software development, etc. and for many years I kind of ignored their religion. I knew it was bad and that it was false, but I kind of dismissed a lot of it. But then came a day when I decided not to and I studied their religion deeper and started asking questions and started watching others who ask them questions and came to the realization that they are generally fucked in the head and truly horrible people on average that can't be saved. When I see someone escape that horrible religion I'm happy for them, but most of the time they will do anything and everything amoral to try to defend it and it looks real bad. If I had never asked questions, I would have never formed negative opinions of Muslims. It's the knowing how Muslims respond after interacting with them that makes me talk bad about them.

@goaded There's a lot of propaganda from the Dawah community and through mainstream media to convince people that Islam is harmless. Most people just tune out and except what they are told like you rather than study what is going on. It's when people know Islam, that they all the sudden have a problem with Islam. People that don't know shit about it turn a blind eye to it.
- 4 mo
@goaded these days with the internet there is massive exposure to Islam via YouTube and TikTok through the apologetic scene and through websites like Answering Islam and everyone has access to the many versions of the Quran and the Hadith at the click of a mouse. So what generally happens is people make claims through videos and reference the sources. Then viewers that see the video check those sources and read them in context and discover all sorts of horrible things about Islam. So yes, people are reading the Quran and Hadith these days by the millions. They may not read the entire book cover to cover like I did as a kid, but they study the religion topically, they watch debates among Christians, Muslims/Submitter, Jews, Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons, etc. People are more exposed to the intricacies of religion today probably than any other time in history. This is why there is such a large apostasy rate in Islam at the moment and why countries like Iran are on the brink of collapse. There is an avalanche of apostasy and it is changing the world as we know it.

@goaded 20 years ago people were told Islam was bad by the new channels and knew we were at war. Today people are neck deep in information about Islam and not only know they don't like Islam, they likely have a handful of reason why and can point to verses in the Quran or crazy shit in the Hadith that they will openly criticize. The world is changing rapidly and there are a lot more people doing research.

Otherwise I care about Muslims as much as they care for me, I just don't want them here in my country.00 Reply
Do you know that most people who talk bad about Nazis haven't talked to many? Do you know that most people that talk bad about the KKK never even tried to attend a meeting?

Argue against what? You equating Muslim people to Nazis and the kkk? Lmao I love when someone says stupid shit and then when they get called stupid, they claim that the other person doesn’t have an argument.
- 4 mo
@liel443 With all due respect, Lady, the only one with a flaw in Your argument here is You. By Your ferocity in badmouthing the Muslims, I would assume You are a MAGA supporter. You know, one of those people who get accused of being Nazis all the time for simply displaying common sense. So... I'm actually deeply disappointed by Your use of the "argumentum ad hitlerum". Muslims are not Nazis, and in many ways. Most importantly, though, everyone can become a Muslim, while if You were not born German, a Nazi would shoot You on sight, since they wouldn't even consider You a human being, even if You genuinely wanted to become one of them.
- 4 mo
1. I did not badmouth anyone. I clearly showed a counter example to demonstrate that "you haven't tried to talk to hundreds of them so you can't know" doesn't work.
2. The fact that you "assume I'm a MAGA supporter" dismissively, as if it means my opinion is wrong, demonstrates your own prejudice and hate-based belief system.

4 moI talk very badly about them because I do know about them and have had plenty of bad experience with them. Like mosques that preach hatred, here in the US. They preach division. They talk shit about how bad Americans are, about how bad non-Muslims are. This isn't just one mosque, but multiple mosques.
Then there are the kidnappings, forced arranged marriages, and death threats. I'm not talking about some other part of the world, but right here in the US. This is all personal experience.
Everywhere in the world where that religion takes hold, it's trouble. People go on about the Quran, but that is irrelevant. What is relevant is what actually happens, not some idealistic theory. If Muslims don't want a bad name, then they should do something about the nuts who give them a bad name. It's not just a few bad apples, it's very widespread.20 Reply 1.1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. It's\nWith anything in this world , any religion , any race

Yeah, people like that are usually Christians who have been fed shit about Islam by idiots who have been fed Zionist bullshit to spread hatred about Muslims in order to justify Israel's 80 years of planned genocide.
All they hear about are the worst examples of modern Salafist brutality.
But they are unaware of the sophistication that Muslims brought to Europe or the kindness and generosity of Islam.
They don't know that Jews thrived in Islamic countries while they were being murdered and purged from Europe.

We do not need or want Islam in the west.
I worked with one from Afghanistan. Seems nice enough.
We have Islamic schools in my city. Fucking why did our leaders choose to import that shit?
He sends his kids to Islamic school.
I can see what is happening in Europe. The Somalis in Minnesota. The Islamic takeover in Dearborn, MI.
I 100% want an end to immigration from Islamic countries and a deportation of those that do not assimilate or promote an anti US culture.
I do not CARE if some of them are nice. BIG PICTURE, MACRO LEVEL... our country has zero obligation to willingly import Islam. A culture against ours that wants to take over.
I do not want our government to "be nice". I want it to protect and secure our country and its culture.
00 Reply Growing up with the muslim gang rapists we always had to be vigilant for our sisters, mother, cousins etc. An ex of mine was assaulted by them.
She was dating a boy at school who took her to meet her family. When she got there his father, uncles, brothers and cousins were waiting for her. Its part of their culture.

some of us who claims to be muslims are just total asshole zealots.

4 moI have and have seen how such a small population wants to turn this country into Sharia Laws, stop church bells from ringing because it offends them, but loud calls to prayer over loudspeakers are ok at 5 AM, banning food production, which their religion does not use, because of religious beliefs everyone had to suffer. Just look at jolly old England being changed as we write. They want Sharia law for everyone, and they are about 2% of the population, so what's there to like about them?

It's not "extermination", it's "conversion". Quite unlike what a certain Occupied Zone of Free Arab Palestine is doing to the Muslims. There is a big difference between the two.
- 4 mo
@CalmUntilAbused Bullshit. I could look up the passages from the Koran which literally command muslims to "lay in wait for" and "kill" Christians and Jews and to "cut off their heads and hands whenever possible" and also permit muslims to "lie about their intentions" in that regard.
Israel was acting in defense against the terrorist Hamas who most Palestinians support. The October 7 bombing ring a bell, or do you not care about that? - 4 mo
@SeekerOfTruth007 Well, do "Irgun" and "Lehi" ring a bell? They were the original terrorists. Also, funny that You cut off the "Christians and Jews" parts out of Your quotes. Or maybe they were never there in the first place? Christians and Jews in particular are People of the Book for the Muslims, they are supposed to be respected and not threated like any other pagans.
- 4 mo
@CalmUntilAbused And you're a damned liar. I've read the passages in question.
(A) Quran 2:191 “Slay the unbelievers wherever you find them.”
(B) Quran 3:28 “Muslims must not take infidels as friends”
(C) Quran 3:85 “Any religion other than Islam is not acceptable”
(D) Quran 5:33 “Maim and crucify the infidels if they criticize Islam”
(E) Quran 8:12 “Terrorize and behead those who believe in scriptures other than Quran”
(F) Quran 8:60 “Muslims must muster all weapons to terrorize the infidels”
(G) Quran 8:65 “The unbelievers are stupid; urge the Muslims to fight them”
(H) Quran 9:5 “Whenever opportunity arises, kill the infidels wherever you catch them”
(I) Quran 9:123 “Make war on infidels living in your neighborhood”
(J) Quran 47:4 “Do not hanker for peace with infidels; behead them when you catch them” - 4 mo
@SeekerOfTruth007 Well, not once did those name Christians or Jews as said "infidels". This sole phrase: "Any religion other than Islam is not acceptable" is far from enough. You know, for me as a Christian (or rather a Catholic, I'm pretty specific about it), no religion other than Catholicism is acceptable on a personal level. I would never support any set of values that is not the exact Catholic one. This does not mean I will go on a rampage against those who hold a lot of Christian values among those that are misled (a. k. a. the Muslims). In fact, I kind of see Islam as a stepping stone for reviving Catholicism in the Western societies (Catholicism is much more meek than Islam or militant atheism, so there is little chance for the Catholics to fight back against the latter successfully, but since Islam accepts Christianity, if it rises to power in the West, a lot of defeated militant atheists will pick the much softer Christianity over the severely harsher Islam). Then we Christians can take back control of our territories, since we will have a vast numerical advantage.
- 4 mo
@CalmUntilAbused You have lost your damned mind if you think Islam converts anyone to Catholicism.
- 4 mo
@SeekerOfTruth007 Oh, they will not. However, while they do accept Christians, they have an issue with atheists. I mean the kind of issue that makes heads roll (and with Islam, it might even get literal). Therefore, all the non-militant atheists will choose Christianity over Islam, to get off the radar, but also not to submit to the Muslim laws. And they will have a really huge motivation to keep the Christian morals, since any disobedience might mark them as suspects of atheism, which will bring the serious issue of survival back. Over time, they will accept that these morals are there for a reason, and finally, they will realize God Almighty exists and He was the one who allowed them the safe haven of Christianity when under threat of... parting ways with their heads, to put it lightly. As for the militant, bloodthirsty atheists, they will simply vanish overnight (or maybe over a slightly longer period of time).
