The US military lower enlisted ranks are largely comprised of kids from our shithole Red States who come from rural areas with low job opportunities and poor education systems along with lots of poverty. The military can be one of the only options these kids have to get out of that environment after high school.

They tend to stay in for one 8 year hitch with 2-6 years on active duty and the remainder in the IRR then they fall back into what they came from. You won't find the children of investment bankers or dot com CEO's in that platoon of new recruits. Nor will you find the kids whose parents can afford to send them to college. The peasants have always done the fighting and the dying for the rich.

How do I know? My father was career Air Force. I grew up on Air Force bases. I was a career Army Officer with 15 years of active service. I trained, babysat, coached, mentored, and disciplined those kids. I ate meals with those kids and shared water with them. I asked them to risk their lives. I chose them for missions. And I sent them to die.

NPR has claimed that there is missing testimony. Maybe that is true, but that's not the same thing as evidence. One witness statement made decades after the alleged incident is, by itself, not sufficient for anything. Such testimonies are not uncommon, and are frequently invented by people for political or legal reasons, or even just as revenge for perceived slights. This is why a court would never allow a case to proceed on just testimony of this nature. It would be very different if there was a report taken at the time of the incident, but there wasn't. So at this point, the testimony is heresay.

What you will find real, documented evidence of is that Trump, upon learning what Epstein was involved in, kicked him out of the event he'd been invited to and reported him to the police - and this occurred prior to his presidency. In fact, Trump was among the first to report him.

NPR didn't lie directly - the things the said were likely true - but they intentionally omitted lots of context that would have let readers understand that it was a nothing burger. That's called SPIN, and NPR does that all day long. And they are quite good at it, unlike many in the legacy media. But you can easily mislead when you cherry-pick facts and omit context. You have been mislead. You have no actual EVIDENCE to point at, which was my point. If Trump was a pedo, there would be plenty of evidence, as there always is in such cases. You know, like the many videos of Biden touching and sniffing his clearly uncomfortable granddaughters.
