Why did Trump say he was so against regime change but he’s not clearly?

first the kidnapping of President Maduro and his wife, and now the murder of the supreme leader of Iran and attacking them. And calling for regime change. It’s just ironic, considering his criticism of Bush and all that.

Iran has been attacking thd US and Israel for 2 decades now, no way can they be let to get nukes.

Maduro has been participating in the drug trade which affects the us negatively and encouraging ilegal immigration to the US.

Osama Bin Laden, Gaddafi, Saddam, leaders of ISIS, leaders of HAMAS, leaders of Hezbollah, leaders of terror groups in yemen... the message is clear... attack or threaten the US or Israel and you as a leader will be killed.

So did Nixon. In Nixon's case, a lot of the decisions were those of his advisors and not him.
In Trump's case, he was out of office for 4 years. Plenty of time to change his views. People's views DO change, especially since he has a history of flip flopping. These regime changes were different though, because the local people actually wanted them. So he's doing MY idea. Asking the local people if they want regime change and they said YES

I think there will be a big upside for the US and the whole Middle East region if there is a regime change. It sort of was a crime of opportunity.
