S. bases in the region and Israel until they ran out of weapons; they must have said it a hundred times.

It’s like stepping on a snake; if you step on it, it will bite. The same logic applies here. Everyone knew this was going to happen. Of course, we do not support this situation; a religious regime, just a few people in power, is willing to set the entire Middle East on fire for its own interests. They are also using

Nope, not shocked or even mildly surprised. All of those countries are either allied with the US or subservient to the US to some degree. Iran has had long standing hostile relationships with all of them. And then there's the whole batshit crazy animosity between the Sunni (Iran) and Shia (Saudi) Muslim sects. Many Muslim countries that are no more commendable in terms of human rights than Iran are allies of the West.

This is not solely a question of Islam.

Iran is more different from the rest of the Arab countries.
1. They are not Arabs, but Persians.
2. The majority of the population revolted against the system, and it killed over 40,000 protesters.
3. The Persians, although they are Shia Muslims, they in the West are more liberal, many girls refuse to wear veils and even put on make-up and display themselves in an attractive way. Men also mostly don't give a damn about Islam, apart from not eating pork and drinking alcohol.
4. Iran is also the country in the East that has the largest increase in the Christian population.

Thus, although I consider that the moment to intervene in Iran is not the most opportune, taking into account the situation in Ukraine, it is still a good thing that another dictatorship is eliminated and/or that the Persian citizens receive a helping hand and are eliminated from among their crazy theocratic dictators.

I consider it unacceptable that we still have countries like Religious Republics where religion rules, as in the Middle Ages, communist states like China, North Korea, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia, Cuba, Vietnam.
I believe that something should be intervened and done with these states, and that citizens with good faith should be elevated to key positions and liberalize their country in their regional site.
Let's not accept that people suffer because of the lack of education and civilization.
In Afghanistan it is legal to have sex with minors.
It is legal to beat your wife.
In China you don't have the opportunity to choose and change something.
You don't have freedom of speech to denounce the real problems in the country.
