There would be any regime change without boots on the ground. The people who elected the last Supreme Leader get to elect the next one so unless the US is willing to stick around for a lot of years and sacrifice a lot of soldiers, I think Trump will chicken out. There is no official confirmation that President Trump intends to use nuclear weapons. However, the ongoing conflict has already resulted in significant Iranian casualties. While air power has dominated the campaign, President Trump has refused to rule out the deployment of ground troops. I hope it resolve soon. Nukes? Definitely not.
