Tariff checks, any updates?

I saw an article saying they were being processed, distributed etc. has anyone gotten that $2k Trump promised everyone? I’m not holding out hope but same time that be awesome if it did happen.

He not only promised $2000 for low and middle class income people, he also claimed that the money left over would substantially pay down the national debt.

Two court rulings this week went against Trump on tariffs and ruled the government must issue refunds immediately for all illegally collected tariffs. The fact that he admitted this will be dragged out for years in the courts shows Trump does not care about American businesses.

Trump will appeal, probably get overturned. Don’t get me wrong, I’m hopeful for those checks. But have doubts

i would doubt this is happening any time soon. haven't heard anything about other than suggested ideas. but i've heard waffling on the idea.

it also doesn't really make sense to simply send out money. the math says the AVERAGE American paid $1500 in tariffs but some certainly have paid more than others. so sending out $1500 to every taxpaying america doesn't seem to correctly address losses for americans who paid tariffs

Trump wanted us to have our checks two months ago, but it has to go through the Supreme Court and Congress. So you can just kiss your Xbox goodbye.

Trump did not promise a check. It was something e was considering. Instead he wanted to use the money to pay down the debt.

The tax cut he did promise was everything he said it would be.
