At this point it's like trying to talk someone out of Scientology or any other cult.

They believe that Trump built a border wall and had Mexico pay for it (he built a net 50-60 miles of new border installations). They believe that the Democrats ran a nationwide secret organization to steal the 2020 election with mules and taped windows, but then when they were in government didn't repeat that magical feat in 2024 (fact is, you can't steal a federal or even a state election). They believe that a "cabal" of Democratic politicians is meeting in the basement of a pizzeria in Washington to drink the blood of kidnapped children (that pizzeria doesn't even have a basement, apart from the whole idiocy of that story).

If your goal is to change their mind, yes. You need to remember that in identity politics, these political ideas are tied in with their identity, meaning any criticism on the politics itself is taken subconsciously as an attack on their person. You’re not going to change their mind if they feel you’re doing so out of a personal vendetta against them.
But if your goal is to win, then yes. Keep debating them. It’s the easiest thing on fucking earth to beat them in a debate.
