No. People often vote for a single issue without looking at the bigger picture. For example 1 in 5 Reform voters want all non white people out of the country regardless if they were born here or not. No one looks at how they want to dismantle the health service or remove workers protections. Getting rid of the discrimination act may allow you to call to call your work colleague a ni**er but it also allows your wife's boss to fire her for getting pregnant or sack you for going to the wrong church.

It's exactly the same in America, that black guy who voted Trump so he can call his gay neighbour a f***** isn't going to get a free pass when the lynch mob comes. That Mexican who voted to stop "illegals" now can't leave the house without ID and has to tolerate being checked daily by the same guy over and over. Meh, I am kinda torn on this one. A lot of these people are vulnerable to joining cults and they deserve our pity for that.

On the other hand, the cult they joined only wants to bring about destruction and hate and they are all on board with that because they believed it wouldn't affect them and now it is. They were warned about it and they did it anyway because they have hate in their hearts and for that I say no pity should be given.

I think in the end they should be forgiven if they bail from MAGA, but those still under their banner or those who still want to hate on minorities should be criticized until they stop hating. Meet fire with fire so to speak.
