Why is it allowed for there to be potholes everywhere that ruin my car?

Not even just potholes, huge pieces of uneven ground on the road, chunks of ground missing, speedbumps EVERYWHERE. I can go 5 mph and my car will still dip and bump. Yet I have to pay taxes and don't get a refund for them destroying my car.

this is a fact of life in parts of the country that has cold winters. The front ends of cars seem to be more robust than they were. All you had to do was drive through one big pothole and you had to get your front end re aligned. I remember waiting until winter was over before getting it done.

See because you pay taxes to upkeep the roads and they aren't kept up so then you damage your car. This requires you to pay for repairs and pay sales tax on income you were already taxed on to fix a car you paid tax on and a yearly property tax on.

Depends where you live. You may have to flee the freeze/thaw zone of our northern states to escape the annual road damage that is part of life in snow and ice country.

Soon we'll enter the road maintenance phase where crews are disrupting traffic to repair the damage from this past winter. There is no escape other moving to the sun belt.
