Collective responsibility includes that nasty responsibility word. Way too much effort.

Most people are looking for that nice comfortable collective whining thing. It requires zero effort.

Failing a zero effort solution, a savior to take on all the risk and responsibility is exactly what people are looking for.

And yes, of course this is what I'd argue. Most people are followers and thus need a leader sadly. Many problems arise because of this and the idea opposed to that won't be given traction due to this need.

People don't want leaders or collective responsibility. They want to believe they've already put the work in and everyone else is lagging behind. Even someone as perfect and amazing as me forgets all about that sometimes.

Life is hard and nobody sees your struggle like you do.
