Why do so many people hate Iranians and where does this hostility come from?

What have they done to you personally? Is it because you hate their religion for some reason? Or because you resent the price of gas and blame it on them or because of their religious beliefs that conflict with yours? What's the deal with us? Do you even know any of these people? I've worked with a lot of Iranians and they in person are a pleasure to work with and make good friends. I don't understand all the hostility.

Well given the Iranians you work with in the western world escaped Iran most likely due to religious persecution for being a Christian or Jew it's wouldn't be surprising that you don't have a problem with them. 90% of the Iranian diaspora are non-Muslim. Meanwhile in Iran, there are Twelver Shia Muslims that want to conquer and subjugated the entire world under an Islamic Caliphate. They operate under a belief that Muslims are superior over everyone and that Jews and Christians are the worst of creatures bellow even cockroaches. That means all the Jews and Christians you know would be killed by the Iranians that currently control Iran. That said, roughly 60% of modern day Iran are not even Muslim anymore. So it would be nice if Iran could be freed from Islamic rule and return to Persian culture and to see many of the natives convert to Christianity after the death threats are removed. I don't hate Iranians / Persians. I went to school with a bunch of Royal Iranian Naval Cadets. Great guys. I worked with a family of Iranian Jews who fled the country during the Islamic Revolution. Again, great people. Iranians, like any other people are not some monolithic easily categorized boogeyman.
