Should Nicolae Paulescu be honored for his work in diabetic research?

Nicolae Paulescu was a Romanian doctor who in 1916 discovered and sucessfully isolated the protein that produces insulin. However, because of his anti-Semetic views, he was denied the Nobel Prize and the prize and credit were given to two Canadians who did the same thing 5 years later.

I heard over 15 years ago that Paulescu discovered it, but now in these crazy times, even Google gives credit to the Canadians, unless you specifically type Paulescu's name, and now it is said that the Canadians discovered it.

Do you think Paulescu should still be honored and agknowledged for this important medical breakthrough? Okay, he was an anti-Semite, but he still discovered it. And the crazy thing is, Hitler still gets credit for the Autobahn. We wouldn't be able to treat/manage diabetes, if it wasn't for Paulescu.
