California has spent around $120 million to help wildlife get across the busy freeway in California. My only criticism of the project is that they won’t be able to come up with proper signage for the animals to read. The stupid Republicans think that all animals can read English. It's just not true. That's why the signs need to include pictures and symbolism that animals can understand.

We don't do any better in Australia. We expect them to read Kanga, koala and wombat crossing. It must leave other species like blue tongue lizards confused. Can they use the kanga crossing or will they be fined?

Due to different priorities. If everything ELSE would be good we republicans can save dolphins but other stuff is more urgent. THE real question is how can drivers not hit a butterfly , even if driver reads the sign! It is pure waste. The important question is why do #democrats "care about animals more than people"?
I see the skid marks on the top picture. Someone must have locked it up to save a butterfly! Maybe there should be a traffic light! The butterfly and cougar bridge needs to be made into a toll bridge. So that it can be finished! Also, bridges like that would be a good way to make more farmland!

The sign was a joke. But I did show a picture of the actual animal crossing over the freeway. It's not finished yet because I think they ran out of money.
well i'm sorry but if you "run out of money" during a project, that's not the fault of legislation. that's the fault of poor planning not of legislation. cause you start building when you have the funding for whatever the cost you have planned for if you don't have the money that you planned to need for the project, you don't start the project cause you know you can't finish it. them running out usually means they needed more money than they planned for. and the government not giving more money than they planned for is actually a good mechanism to stop grifters from taking infinite money out of the tax payers pocket. yeah that can sometimes lead to money sunk in a project not finished but that can't be avoided.

They only care about wildlife when there is money in it for them. If there is a conflict, they will choose money and not wildlife. Want an example? Solar panels and wind turbines. One Burns and one slices. But they all love Gaia, don't they?
