If your skin is black, Americans will call you black, because that is the custom here. If you are in America, you don't have a right to impose your country's cultural norms on Americans against their will. If we were in Nigeria, we would have to respect your culture, and you would be within your rights to ask us to leave if we didn't

Because most Nigerians are black. I know ethnicity and nationality are too completely different things. If you were South African I wouldn't be surprised, but NIGERIAN. I would be very surprised and confused what a White man like yourself is doing in Nigeria.
