Good news? U. S. gas prices, by PPP rate, are cheaper than Iran so we win?

Good news? At least we pay less than iran price! In iran vs. U. S. Gasoline price: we win! as i will explain:

1. I am not denying prices here rose, Um slowly cough -last week here in NYC $3.90 increased to ($3.93 on 30th, to) $3.95 today, which is a bit less than the price in the new film! Nick and nick in picture (3.95x20 =79.00) filmed before the battle.

2. I understand people hate paying a lot - except when democrats did same to raise prices! And even more expensive than now- no media news fuss "bad biden" in 2022! Exposing now is not authentic complaints lol. Not REALLY ABOUT rising prices.

3. We need to see the bigger financial picture. Iran pumps oil from its land, and processed it and sells to its citizens with a subsidy and we know the PURCHASING POWER of $ and iran rial so we see those seemingly lower prices in iran are due to a subsidy.

This is mostly subsidized. government pays value 3.40 to keep prices low, but sets a quota to ration gas. (I can imagine trying to put a quota on new Yorkers- only buy 15 gallons? - different worlds ROFL) but i am not mocking just contrast!

4. So the buyer pays $1.44 in buy power (in ppp rate) but the actual price is: even higher than here NYC USA, despite there no export delivery expenses! But here $3.95 in buy power, is still- even after increasing- now still: 20% cheaper than iran so also in this America won! We are better than iran in this.

5. In Egypt, these factors kept price low, in buy power just $3 per-

liter oops! they have it even worse around $11 each gallon gasp (for price that is subsidized so buyer pays $1.73 each gallon).

So in the big picture of economy we in NYC are relatively better! So good news?

When mentioned iran economy, those suffering Iranians- i am not mocking- their money got even weaker FIVE times weaker than last year 2025, when 39,000 r. had buy power- same as power of $1 but now need 230 000 r. for same buy power.
