Can you rub your belly and pat your head at the same time?

I heard if you can do this, you are more likely to live past 70 years old. a lot of girls I know can't do it. I think girls are just less coordinated than guys.

I can do it, I don't know about the whole "If you can rub your stomach and pat your head you will live past 70" crap ... If I do then great lol but anyone can do it honestly.

When I first attempted wayyyyyy back in the day, I was uncoordinated like a mofo. But it's just like anything else in life, the more you practice it, sooner or later you will be able to do it

I call shenanigans to the "live past 70" thing. I can do it and I dare say I'll be dead by 60 due to some form of cancer or another (heredity plus sedentary plus beer)

That said, if I do live to 70, I'll be sure to repost to this thread and admit I am mistaken.

But, according to Swedish studies (I live in Sweden) the woman lives about 7 years longer than the man, average.

Also, men is more likley to get heart diseases or failure here.

But of course, this is not something that's all over the world, just in sweden.

I can do it if I'm using my right hand to pat my head, and my left hand to rub my belly. However, if I try to switch and use my left hand to pat my head, and my right hand to rub my belly, I end up patting my belly and rubbing my head. I think the movements are ingrained in my hands, haha

Yes, and your facts don't add up. If your likelihood of living past 70 is portrayed through this ability, and more guys than girls can do this, don't  you think statistics would show that men live longer than women and not the other way around?

I'm not very coordinated... At all. In any way shape or form. Haha. But that's just me, to speak for the entire gender would just be ignorant.

However, I can do this! I just tried and it's prettty easy, actually.

Yeah I can but for some reason I can do it way faster when my left hand is doing the patting on my head. But I'm not so sure that this has anything to do with longevity.. unless you're just less likely to hurt yourself in a klutz-induced accident

I can rub my belly, pat my head, and tap out paradiddles with my feet at the same time. But I'm a drummer and a juggler so I'm used to controlling all my limbs independently.

I can do it too! Try patting your left knee and rubbing your right knee. And shift every 5 seconds. Its harder!
