He lied about Iran wanting a cease fire

He lied and said Iran had no missile lauchers and couldn't use missiles , as they attacked Israel with most missiles ever next day.

He lied that he destroyed Itan's nuclear program

He lied about the person he talked with in Iran about a cease fire.

He lied about an Ex president telling him he wished that he had attacked Iran

He lied about killing the 170 Iranian Children being killed

He lied about Trillions in investments by other countries. They all say we promised none of those funds.

He lied about ending the Ukraine war in one day

He lied to Iran about negotiations so he could kill additional leaders

He lied about the money Tariffs have brought in

He lied about Tariff rebate check , then lied again and said he never promised that

He lied about DOGE rebate checks

He lied about not touching Social Security

He lied about reducing National Debt, he has added more to debt than any President ever

He lied about US economy , best ever , it is one of the worse in history

Shouldn't the President be required to tell the truth to the American people? It shows now that the President can act like scum , lie , cheat and steal. It is over for America. America acts 3rd World now. America is now unreliable , can't be trusted anymore.

This question is disingenuous because it forces respondents into a simplistic yes or no binary with two diametrically opposed answers and no room for nuance or context.

It is also written as though the current administration is the first in history to lie to the American people. That is simply not true. Nixon lied. Kennedy lied. FDR lied. Reagan lied. Thomas Jefferson lied. Presidents from both parties have done it for over two centuries.

By deliberately singling out only the current administration while ignoring all the others, the question biases the audience, inflames partisan passions, and sows even more division and discourse. That leads me to believe stirring up controversy rather than seeking honest discussion is the actual goal here.

A better way to phrase the question for fairness and neutrality would be: “Should a president be held accountable for repeatedly providing false or misleading information to the American people?”

Possible neutral poll answers could include:

Yes, presidents should always be held accountable regardless of party.

No, political accountability should be left to voters rather than formal mechanisms.

It depends on the specific circumstances and severity of the information.

All elected officials, not just presidents, should face the same standards.

EVERY POTUS should be held accountable. The problem is people like you only demand accountability for presidents of whom you don’t approve. It’s completely inappropriate to only hold one party’s representatives accountable but not the other’s. That’s all anyone wants to do though. It would actually be really easy to get western politics back on track if voters started holding their OWN party accountable. Make it a race for the BEST possible candidate. Rather than the current race to the bottom that we’re currently in. Each side endorsing increasingly deplorable behavior from their own candidates because “the other team does it too”. It’s lazy, ignorant, hypocritical and the worst possible use of tribalism in an otherwise “civilized” society.
You’re just a hypocrite and you have no business participating in conversations about how the world ought to function until you admit that about yourself and correct that particular defect of character.

He should be held accountable for each and every criminal act, but he has to be charged and prosecuted according to the law. As for Presidential lies to the American people, that's where Congress should hold him accountable and remove him from office.

The above is difficult with the current Congress. Even if you could get all the way to removal from office, which requires House impeachment and then a 2/3's majority vote in the Senate, you then have JD Scum-bucket to deal with. You can't impeach both of them on a single trial; each one has to be its own. You won't get that unless you have a super majority. The House will be reluctant to impeach anyone without a performance record.

States are able to sue the Administration if they believe there are grounds, for example, withholding funds for programs while investigations of "alleged" fraud, or other incidents are ongoing. Trump uses that same argument when it benefits him, so it's a goose/gander thing.

In the above examples this is going to influence what people do and think. Resulting in people living or dying. If I told you there is no mines in the field over there, after which you walked over it and exploded to a mine I should be held accountable. This is no different.
