Do you think we have a collective obligation to meet our own potential? If we choose not to, is it a tragedy?

Maybe there is example of it happening but people tend to give it a good collage try and if it doesn't work out it dosen't work. Fair enough shake hands onto find a better fit.

I'm more concerned is when you do find a good fit and burn out before you even reach the potential and thats the true tragedy.

To meet our own potential? We have a duty not to harm others, but not a duty to spend our life in service to them even if we are able. If someone could heal the sick with a touch, that doesn't mean they have to spend their life traveling the world healing others.

I think wasted potential is one of the biggest tradgities. We're all given gifts we should try our best to use them.

That said, I think we have an even bigger obligation to encourage others to pursue their potential.
