At the same time this is the wealthiest most advanced nation to ever exist and this is the extent of how evil our county is and holding together. If shocking impressed and even optimistic of our future. In comparison to other potential global powers. If we got problems they don't have a snowballs chance.

The worst part is they don't even want global power but a unilateral power in a sector of the globe. Problem is nothing is in in a vacuum.

My opinion on the US changed drastically ever since Trump was reelected.

Now with the war in Iran, the invasion of Venezuela and possibly Cuba I no longer see the US like I used to.

I know that not all Americans are MAGA and not all are pro-war, but it's difficult to believe in the country.

Did we ever consider them the good guy? They are always off starting wars, acting as if they rule the entire world. They maybe did some good things here and there but I think we all know it's just the current leader and things will likely go back to normal when they are run by a mature adult again.

The USA via the CIA and other clandestine operations, is responsible for the overthrow of roughly 80 governments in modern times. Look it up. Virtually every overthrow of a supposed bad guy (sometimes they were, but that's another story) resulted in a different bad guy who was favorable to US financial interests. Invariably, it involved natural resources of some kind, or a strategic placement on the globe.

It's not about politics anymore, and I dare say it never really was. It's always and forever been about money and power. Nothing else. The USA is now second only to Chile in income disparity for it's population.

No, the fact that we had an entire war to argue over slavery being bad shows that we were never the good guys. Slavery is objectively bad, people knew it was bad then, and also well before then and spoke out against it, but we had to have a full-on war to actually make it stop because the people who liked slavery had so much power that they were able to keep doing it. Even our founding fathers in the 1770’s had arguments about whether or not slavery was okay.
