How do you deal with a vain, toxic employee at a local business?

i meet this person through there work and if i didn't see them at there work i wouldn't see them anywhere else despite the fact we live in the same area.

i really don't know what is wrong with them exactly , they got promoted a few years back to a position there really not qualified for and it hasn't really worked out yet owner has allowed for them to stay in it anyways. and they seem to have no interest in finding another job.

so i see this person at there work a lot , ( i'm there as a customer if your wondering i don't work with them ) but this person just comes off as seriously a train wreck really and they seem to hate half the customers who frequent the business like myself.

she still works there but looks like she is about to have a nervous breakdown or something , like serious whako , can't believe she has stayed there that long , not even sure what she brings to the business or why owner would want her there so badly

I guess you might have to take your business elsewhere.

somedays i just go to the gym so i don't have to be near there , also a new business opening later this year that sells a similar product but not in as good of location

i still can't believe the owner made this person the manager and has kept them in the position for so long , although i think he was given bad advice by the former manager who wanted out and perhaps didn't like his direction at the business

i get along with some of the other employees at this business very well just not the manager who i just feel is really wacko and terrible

Yeah, it's unfortunate when you rely on a certain business, and they become problematic for you. There's not much you can do about it unfortunately.

i went in there Friday and she was not there ( what a relief ) although she still works there so will see where this goes , i honestly though she'd eventually get tired of the job and move on , its a very slow business during the winter and then busy during summer , i saw her resume online its not even what she went to college for
