Why do some pro-spanking advocates shout in all caps and insult others online?

I've noticed this all social medias, even here once. They suddenly get very defensive by writing their whole sentences in uppercase letters as if shouting (why the need for that) and at times even hurled insults. Where is the so called good manners by doing that?

Similary several times it tends to be the religious folks that hurled the first insult and write in uppercase letters. It's one thing to listen to their views and agree to disagree. It's another to shout and insult. That's acting the opposite of what they're claiming to be. That's not a decent person right there. Why?

Those are the same ones claiming not to be affected but by getting super defensive, writing all caps and hurling insults, that sounds like an aggressive person right there, someone that's truly affected and doesn't even realize it.

I don't think it's particular to pro-spanking advocates, but rather, to how certain people express themselves. Since this is a flat media, it's difficult to show emphasis on the screen, but that's when I will use caps or quotation marks, personally.

The ''spare the rod, spoil the kid'' folks. Some of them get so defensive to the point of hurling insults.

Agreeing to disagree is different than how some (not all, some) of them react by writing in caps. I did say some in my question, not all.

Sure, in the end each person has his/her ways to discipline their kids, as long as they are raising the kids to become good citizens in the future with morals abs values than there's no problem...

Since they like to hit people, it would also make sense that they like to shout at people.

It makes sense. They can't come out with anything better than to shout. It reminds me of when you're told ''because I said so'' and told to shut up.
