+1 yThey do. It’s how their intentions are in the mind. Mindset is same. And if ever they get chance they do. And life gives them multiple chances to insult others. Because life easy for anyone. It will put one in many situations under many emotions/feelings.

I feel like most who does it online do it bc they can't do it to their face to being with.
It's not the same to text it on a screen to see the persons reaction Infront of you.
It's definitely not right tho some people should really grow some balls or something and tell things face to face if they really mean it. Insulting someone behind a screen are for cowards.00 Reply
Definitely not. Most bullies are cowards. Online bullies don't have the courage to put their real names out there attached to their words. Similarly, real-life bullies don't have the courage to hold themselves accountable for their actions when people try to hold them accountable.

+1 yAlmost certainly not. I doubt they have the courage to leave their houses at all. If you happen to end up in their home, they may insult you accidentally because they have no meaningful social skills. I don’t think they’d double down at the risk of an escalating confrontation though.

+1 yIt seems you are really being bothered by such trolls. Just block them, report them, or ignore them. Or if the need arises, then turn on your offensive mode.
Some people are audacious enough to be just as irritating in real life as they are online. And some people are hypocrites for being different people in both worlds. These are the worst kind of people.
How you deal with them can only be learned through experience.

In the meantime, I would appreciate it if you could comment on my question.
00 ReplyNO, they hide behind their keyboard.. I think the regulars here try their best to be polite. There is no need to insult. If you disagree make your case why. I skip over some posts for several reasons. One of which is I am unlearned on it. Another is I could be insulting or mean even if I don't intend to be.

+1 yThese days with all the Karens and Williams, I think it is highly likely that they will. The uptick of violence and shootings over trivial things lately, I'm sure it will increase. Sometimes people just can't keep their traps shut.
00 Reply3.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Likely.
Majority of invectives/insults online are laughable. This shows people who speak it out have no clue about the person they try to insult or are really bad observers, it's looks like emotional reaction.00 Reply
+1 yThere is a quote by a famous person, I can't recall his name. "Social media made y'all way too comfortable with disrespecting people and not getting punched in the face for it.”
00 ReplyNot a single bit.
Here's the thing: they don't have the courage to be thoughtful and kind online either -- that's even harder.10 Reply
+1 yIt depends on the situation, at school I do it, on the street if I'm alone I don't do it because it's dangerous, but if I'm accompanied by my gang of friends I do.

Probably more like this 20 ReplyI don't think so either. infact, sometimes it is outrageous what people will say hidden behind a keyboard
00 ReplyIn real life, people don't walk around asking provocative questions and stating their idiotic opinions, so there's usually not a reason for me to insult anyone.

+1 yI’m less likely to insult people on here than I am in real life. If I’m talking to someone on here and they insult me I’ll usually just ignore it but if it’s someone in real life, I will absolutely insult them back for insulting me.

+1 yOh hell no. Most of these people are keyboard warriors. They wouldn't have the guts to say it to someone's face, because they know they would get into a fit, and probably lose. That's why it isn't worth my time to argue with them.
