I’d probably change to a happier and carefree version of myself.
I grew up in difficult situations, I was depressed, sensitive and wrote poetry, then I took the control of my life in my hands and life turned into a more peaceful and a happy place…
I am still the same person as I always was, but a lot less stressed, depressed or worried.
If I became richer, it would be a similar experience probably. I’d just feel more secure, would afford my hobbies and a way of my life more and would help others more.
Yes, I honestly believe I would be the same person 'cuz neither of those are important to me. I believe we are all already very powerful, we just need remember it. As far as the money I'd prolly buy a new Jeep and give most of it away. 😊
Most serious and wholesome opinion I've seen you give. Love it 😁
Lol, Ty. Prolly 'cuz it's finally spring and I can get outside which always does wonders for my mood. 😊
And TY for the MHO 😊
yes, I would...
I don't really need more than what I already have
if I were to found that much money and influence, then I would spend all that extra on others, I could save all of the cats and dogs and other strays in the country, the world? even if just in my neighborhoods, I would still do it
and I don't think that would change the person I am... because money doesn't move me that way
Oh I'd be exactly the same person. Money and power doesn't change anyone, it just highlights who they really are.
This was exactly the answer I was looking for. Well done.
Glad to meet expectations 🫡

I experienced some of that recently but I don't want to discuss details publicly. The experience did not change me at all.
I've never been money minded or focused as long as I got enough for my needs and a few luxuries I'm happy. But to get to the levels your on about? Yes it would change me. I can't believe how it couldn't. That doesn't mean I would change bad. I could end up pursuing a more giving lifestyle, explore higher spiritual pursuits to find meaning. Because it can be quite jarring to find yourself not needing - not having- to DO anything for survival. When everything becomes too easy I think you can get an existential crisis. So you can go in many directions trying to find something. Some people get bad. Some try channel it to good. Who you are on a core level might influence direction but you will change.
With that money and power comes a different range of responsibilities , I would change , but my life would change , the house , car , investment portfolios would be pumping out a mass of money..
So although I don't change , people seek my opinion far more..
So when you think about it , you do evolve , but your core principles may be that same , I'd be fine with the money , I'd enhance it , that's my way.
obviously i'd be the same person. people always change. doesn't mean they stop being the same person. you're still the same person you were, when you were 5 years old but you changed a lot during that time. getting rich and powerfull will obviously change my spending habits. allthough i'm not interested in power so i'm not gonna use it.
The scary part is that you never know how much you will change. I certainly hope that I remain sane but I most likely won't know that I haven't until someone points it out to me.
That being said, though I am vehemently against the practice of lobbying, I would attempt to lobby the politicians to dismantle so many things within the past 115 years. I say this assuming I am not a politician in this scenario.
Dodge v. Ford is one of them, and one of the biggest ones. For those who dont know: if you run a publicly traded company, you are legally required to prioritize shareholders over employees and workers, fucking over the other two for their benefit.
It's is exactly what communists scapegoat capitalism for but this Supreme Court case is one of the biggest reasons why I say we haven't operated on a free market in nearly 115 years. It has only become such a problem now because the shareholders couldn't care less about the customers and employees anymore.
Money will enhance the persons behavior… if they were mean… money and power will make them more. Vs… they will become more care snd generous.
we now have money, since I work and hubby takes care of the finances… I encourage and often remind my hubby to donate more often.
I would remain the same person but adapt to the new life.
What would remain the same would be my morals. I would continue to put Jesus first and help out whoever I could. But my help is giving a hand up, not a hand out. I would continue doing the same activities I enjoy now.
What would change would be doing more travel.
Pretty much the same. I would fly in the front of the airplane and stay in nicer hotels and not care about restaurant prices.
I'd blow it!
Somehow within a year I would be down to 6 or 7 hundred G's. Then I would go back to my simpler way of life with a nice security cushion.
I’d be more vengeful and act on my revenge fantasies, if i have all the money and power in the world. I might also feel more empty inside too, since i’d be able to experience everything i want to experience just to find out nothing satisfies me, as usual.
I'd feel much much stronger and my life would know no bounds.
Yes! Except that I'd be able to help others that need it like I do right now. I would hardly think twice about going up to a homeless person and telling them I'm buying them a house.
I would be the same, just I would own multiple jets, yachts and own space program.
Yes, I would be the same person, but I would be able to do things I currently can't achieve.
Probably be a whole lot happier 😂
Id be tired out from managing all that.
