I think a lot of unhinged people have lost it. A lot more crazy things happening in this world than 10 years ago. Justice system is still fucked up because people have more compassion for a rapist who raped a young girl than the victim herself. People who have more compassion for murderers who killed an innocent woman on a bus. Its all insanity. Why are people doing this to people? Families are suffering with heartbreak and instead you have people give these no jail time for ever murder.

Well... Regarding the "rape" aspect You brought up, it probably all came crashing down when a certain Amber You might have Heard about decided to smear and extort Captain Johnny Depp in court (and failed). This led to an abrupt end of the #BelieveWomen concept, while also putting men on guard against women who might intend to abuse their compassion (these men including the judges passing verdicts). Now, since the only differentiating factor between consensual, casual sex (which is common these days) and rape is the lack of consent, which is terribly hard to prove since sex usually happens without uninvolved witnesses, ever since most of the judges stopped believing women by default, rape cases are basically impossible for women to win (unless they are lucky to have a SIMP of a judge decide their fate). Also, since men are currently going through the Male Loneliness Epidemic, while the Amber Heard vs. Captain Johnny Depp case is fresh in their minds, a lot of them take all these "innocent" verdicts in rape cases as justified revenge for the hell men worldwide went through with the #MeToo campaign of mostly defamation, and even for the suffering Captain Johnny Depp Himself, even if they might actually suspect the accused men to be actually guilty of some case of rape. That's why there is little compassion, if any, towards female rape victims. In other words, You've got Amber Heard and most of the #MeToo activists to thank for it.

As for the "murder" aspect, it is probably women who started it, either. You know, if You have countless women sending love letters to the likes of Ted Bundy, You kind of get desensitized to the murder of women (since they are apparently attracted to their murderers). As for the desensitization to the murder of men, with all the hell men are forced to endure in the Western sphere of cultural influence in the 21st century due to the feminism, I'd assume a lot of them consider death to be an acceptable way out of this hell, thus they are not exactly terrified at the concept of their own death, with some men possibly being envious of the murder victims.

It's not the people but media that depicts lot of things in a different way than most do.
There are lot of socio economic mechanics which cause this behavior of media but crime prevention and prosecution is huge part of budget of every country and in most case it's not in interest to catch the rabbit but to hunt him. Another problem is when the perpetuator has too melanin rich, mainstream media always start mental gymnastic show to find the guild in society not by this particular individual.
