Not only has Trump's put Spirit Airline out of business with his Iram war but other businesses near their hub will be put out of business. Coffee Shop, Doughnut Shops, Part Stores. 17,000 people lost Airline jobs at one time and thousands of other will too related to their airline closing. The airline said their fuel prices doubled because of Trump's war and they were a casualty of the war. Also, many other Businsses will close because of the war.

If they were going out of business because of fuel costs then they were going to go out of business anyway because all the other airlines that are staying in business just add those expenses to the ticket just like all the trucking companies do when fuel prices go up, they add to the delivery. My job has had fuel surcharges for years , this is nothing new. When Katrina hit or any other natural disaster hits and fuel prices soar and stay high for months, how many businesses have shut down because of that? if they do, that means they were already doing poorly to begin with. They always try to blame whoever is president at the time for these things

Nah Spirit was horrible. Their financials have been atrocious for a while. They were a public company for many years. Filed for bankruptcy in 2024 and 2025 as well. Even private equity was’t interested in Spirit. We can’t just blame everything on Trump guys lol.

They couldn't raise fares because they positioned themselves as low cost low service. People don't want higher cost low service... that's what tanked Spirit. It's just easier to blame Trump than their own inequity.
